CEO, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia: Warih Andang Tjahjono Why the fuss over a national car?

Warih Andang Tjahjono officially became CEO of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMI) early this month. With 95 percent of its shares held by the Japanbased Toyota Motor Corporation and five percent by Astra International, TMMI churns out 536,000 cars every year, of which 169,000 are exported. The models range from the Kijang Innova to the Vios and the Fortuner.

The BasukiDjarot campaign team is working on Muslim voters who casted their ballots for Agus Harimurti in East and South Jakarta. Religious pilgrimages are being offered to attract them.

Speaking to about 200 residents of Cipinang, Tubagus Ace Hasan Syadzily joked about voter fears of giving their voice for Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), the incumbent Jakarta governor who happens to be a Christian.
