Moderate France Wins

T housands of Emmanuel Macron’s supporters gathered outside the Louvre Museum since noon on Sunday two weeks ago, right after voting. Carrying red, white and blue flags, they were optimistic their candidate would win the presidential election.

From Tirang to the Sumbawa Valley

Dressed in a traditional batik shirt, brown pants, and a gray flat cap, Slamet Ambari went on stage to accept his Tempo Film Festival award at the XXI Epicentrum movie theater in Kuningan, South Jakarta, last Monday.
