While many Indonesians have gone wild for K-pop, South Korean Ambassador Cho Tai-young is a big fan of Indonesian music. The ambassador knows 18 Indonesian songs by heart, from Indonesia Pusaka by Ismail Marzuki, Tak Ingin Sendiri (Don’t Want To Be Alone) popularised by Dian Piesesha, to Cinta Ini Membunuhku (This Love is Killing Me) by D’Masiv. He has also memorized three church songs in Indonesian, including Yesus Sayang Padaku (Jesus Loves Me).
