The House of Representatives (DPR) Law Commission must be transparent in its selection of the new Constitutional Court (MK) judge. Constitutional Court judge Arief Hidayat, who is also the chief justice of the court, is within his rights to put his name forward again. But Arief, whose term of office ends next April, should stand for selection alongside other candidates.
