Disappointed by Indonesian Law
ON June 29, 2013, I purchased kiosks at Laris Market in Cibodas, Tangerang, Banten, in cash. My order numbers were 00448 and 00449 to Bina Berkat Bersama.
I received the Conditional Sales and Purchase Agreement (PPJB) on November 7, 2013. I refused to sign the agreement because it was too unfavorable for the buyer. However, after delaying for 15 days and hearing that my 30 percent downpayment and three paid installments worth around Rp 220 million would be forfeited, I eventually had to sign the deal.
