TWO weeks after the conclusion of the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, the Finance Ministry Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) announced that it would cost Rp3,997 trillion to reduce green gas emissions by 2030. That amount of funding is needed to lower Indonesia’s carbon emission by 29 percent through the country’s own effort in order to prevent the climate crisis.
