STATISTICS Indonesia (BPS) Chief Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti has kept largely silent as doubts mount over Indonesia’s second-quarter 2025 growth figures. BPS reported year-on-year economic growth of 5.12 percent, a number that far exceeded projections by economists, analysts, multilateral institutions, and financial agencies, most of whom expected growth to fall short of 5 percent.
