Failed Operation to Stem the Public Protests

INDONESIA President Prabowo Subianto walked for about ten minutes to reach the home of the late Affan Kurniawan on Jalan Tayu in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday night, August 29, 2025. He avoided the main road leading to the house of the online motorcycle taxi driver who was struck and killed by a tactical vehicle from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Corps the day before.
