AFTER a series of demonstrations that spiraled into riots during the final week of August 2025, influencers with millions of followers on social media began posting similar content. They revealed messages from unknown numbers offering them lucrative deals. The influencers were asked to produce peace-promoting content in exchange for hundreds of millions of rupiah.
