FOR more than four weeks, former member of Jakarta’s Regional House of Representatives, Wanda Hamidah, has been ‘stranded’ in Sicily, Italy. She was sailing with dozens of activists from various countries as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, a humanitarian mission to Gaza, Palestine. Their journey was stalled when their ship broke down and required repairs.
