A FEW hours before the House of Representatives (DPR) passed the revised Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Bivitri Susanti tried to call Jimly Asshiddiqie, Chair of the Police Reform Acceleration Commission. The lecturer at the Jentera Indonesian Law School hoped Jimly could convince President Prabowo Subianto to delay KUHAP’s ratification.
