OVER the past year, Nandi Herdiaman has made frequent trips between Jakarta and Bandung, West Java. As General Chair of the Apparel Business Association (IPKB), he has visited the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry multiple times, urging the government to revise Trade Minister Regulation No. 8/2024. Nandi and other garment producers in his association have protested several times to push for a change of the policy.
