AHMAD Dahlan Rais has been extra busy in recent months. As Chair of Branch and Mosque Development at Muhammadiyah’s Central Board (PP), he is not only overseeing proselytizing and grassroots consolidation efforts but also coordinating the development of Muhammadiyah’s social enterprises (AUM). Under his watch, a merger and consolidation plan is underway for several Islamic sharia rural banks (BPRS) affiliated with the organization.
