LOCATIONS of Indonesia’s first nuclear power plants (PLTN) seem closer than ever to reality. It was Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia who made the revelation. “The Sumatra PLTN is 250 megawatts, and there will be another one in Kalimantan. So, there will be two nuclear power plants, one in Sumatra and one in Kalimantan,” Bahlil said during a press conference at his office on Monday, May 26, 2025.
