AFTER stepping down from the Constitutional Court in October 2008, Jimly Asshiddiqie has rarely been without a public post. He has held a range of positions, from a member of the Presidential Advisory Council to a member of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) from 2019 to 2024. On Friday, November 7, 2025, President Prabowo Subianto appointed Jimly as Chair of the Police Reform Acceleration Commission.
