Former Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas is implicated in the 2024 Haj quota scandal. Several Haj travel agencies were also involved.

A TEAM from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found irregularities while raiding two locations in connection with the haj quota corruption case on Thursday, August 14, 2025. The KPK split its investigators into two groups. The first searched the offices of the haj (the pilgrimage to Mecca) operator Maktour at Wisma Maktour on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata Raya, East Jakarta.
