THE Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) has awarded the Bocor Alus Politik podcast the Udin Award during the organization’s 30th anniversary celebration last weekend. Udin was the nickname of Fuad Muhammad Syafruddin, a journalist of Bernas daily in Yogyakarta who was murdered on August 16, 1996, for reporting on corruption and collusion among officials and the military in that city.
