Does science really kill philosophy? We need to look to Slavoj Žižek.

STEPHEN Hawking once declared that philosophy is dead due to modern developments in science, particularly theoretical physics. In The Grand Design (2010), Hawking wrote that science now plays a central role in answering fundamental questions about the universe. Such a claim reflects an ideological blindness to the limits of scientific knowledge. To understand this, we need to look to Slavoj Žižek.
