AHMAD Ali’s political career stalled in 2024. Running in Jakarta’s electoral district I, the National Democrat (NasDem) Party politician failed to secure a third term in the House of Representatives (DPR). After losing in the 2024 general election, he made a second bid, this time for Governor of Central Sulawesi in the November 27 gubernatorial election. But he lost again.
