NEITHER the flood nor Jakarta’s crawling traffic on Thursday night, October 30, 2025, stopped dozens of officials and cadres from political parties that failed to win seats in the House of Representatives (DPR) from gathering at Swiss-Belhotel in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. It was their third meeting to discuss the parliamentary threshold—the minimum vote percentage required to enter the legislature.
