THE Attorney General’s Office on Thursday, September 4, 2025, named Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Minister for the 2019-2024 term, Nadiem Makarim, a suspect in a corruption case involving the procurement of Chromebook laptops. Director of Investigations at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, Nurcahyo Jungkung Madyo, said one of Nadiem’s roles was organizing a meeting with Google Indonesia in February 2020.
