THE rooms seem to have been abandoned. The walls are covered with mould. The glass panes are dull. Windows and door frames are black with dust. The curtains look like a black tarpaulin, hanging, torn or sweeping the floor. Thick moss is found on the floor and in every corner of the room there are pools of water like small revolting swamps.
