THE new museum called Art Retreat, is the result of a cooperation between Indonesian-born Tjahyadi Kumalaor Kwee Swie Tengand the Singapore Art Museum, as well as the Singapore Tourism Boards promotional activities.

Kwee is said to be one of the most important collectors of contemporary and modern Asian Art, who amassed 1,500 artworks by 135 artists in barely 15 years.
