Stoning in Darussalam

A new law in Brunei Darussalam imposes death by stoning for adultery and gay sex. The country draws international condemnation and boycott.

International condemnations and a boycott movement did little to stop Brunei Darussalam from implementing the Islamic sharia law. Under the new law, those who commit adultery and gay sex will be subject to death by stoning.
