As we approach the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015, it is worrying to see so little being discussed about the opening up of trade, investment and people flows within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). With little debate over cost and benefits, there is rising concern that time is running out on how best to take advantage of AECs opportunities and minimize its threats.
