Australian Media Has Come a Long Way

AT a meeting with a group of Indonesian journalists of electronic and print media in a journalism course run by RMIT University and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Melbourne, I was reminded yet again, of the role a country's media can play in improving or spoiling the country's relationship with another.
