Globalization has different meanings to the country adopting it, says Joseph Stiglitz, winner of the 2001 Nobel Prize for economics, in his analysis. In some countries, such as Japan, the benefits of globalization are shared widely and evenly. Another large-scale economy—China—is currently sharing that feeling.
