Expatriate Papuans have formed a network of resistance. Their main objective is to unite people of similar ethnic backgrounds.

PAPUANS seeking asylum overseas is nothing new. This has been going on since the transfer of power from the Netherlands to Indonesia during the 1960s. Papuans who refused to join, fled to a number of countries in the South Pacific, such as Vanuatu, Fiji, and Australia.
