THAT night, the ketoprak, a modern form of the traditional Javanese play, was titled Pangeran Sambernyowo Kridha (The Struggles of Prince Sambernyawa). Staged in observance of Social Solidarity Day, this drama was performed at Ndalem Joyokusuman, a home with a large veranda located in the vicinity of Gajahan, Solo, mid-December. Widjanarko Puspoyo was performing the part of Prince Sambernyowo. The state-owned Radio Republic Indonesia (RRI) direct
