The plaited bamboo house measuring 8 x 7 meters has not changed much. "I remember there were not enough beds. We had to sleep everywhere, occasionally on tables or on mats outside the house."

WIRANTO, now 62, cannot forget how he and six siblings, his parents and grandmother, lived together in the small house on a plot of 300 square meters.
