AN investigative team of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was ready to make their move. In mid-April, the target to be roped in was in sight: a high-ranking police officer. However, in the middle of the night, after a stakeout, the team decided to call it quits for the night. As it turned out, the expected money exchange to that officer never took place. According to the plan, they were going to swoop after the money switched hands.
