SINCE the twin bombings at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels on July 17, the chief of detectives, Susno Duadji, rarely came to the office. He admitted to being on the ground alongside his staff looking for the perpetrators. Last Saturday, Susno agreed to be interviewed by email. Excerpts:

Is it true your investigators have evidence of a conversation between Antasari Azhar and Anggoro Widjojo? What are the contents?

I don’t know anythi
