Tripping to the Hadramaut

After North and South Yemen united as one nation, access to the Arabian Peninsula became easier, offering spiritual tourism, education and visits to ancestral places of origin.

"I’VE been to Hadramaut many times, but there is always a desire to return. There is a feeling that is difficult to express. The heart feels calm and at ease over there,” said 70-year-old Abdurrahman Alaydrus, who still hopes to return to Yemen, in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. He recalls every corner he has visited, and can describe in detail the city and its people.
