Bank Mega
The bank used to be called PT Bank Karman and was founded in Surabaya in 1969. In 1992, Bank Karman changed its name to PT Mega Bank, and moved its head office to Jakarta. In 1996, it was taken over by PT Para Global Investindo and PT Para Rekan Investama, belonging to Chairul Tanjung. In 2000, the Para Group changed the bank's logo and renamed it PT Bank Mega. It now has over 300 branches throughout Indonesia.
