Streaks of lightning could be seen in the distance, visible through the cockpit window. The Boeing 737 NG which I was flying from Balis Ngurah Rai Airport, in mid-April, was traveling at 180 knots, 330 kilometers per hour. The planes altitude was 4,000 meters.
