Salim Group Behind the Scenes?
The rumor is that the Salim Group is behind the buyers of its former assets, particularly Indosiar and Indomobil. But the main target is BCA, which will be tendered next week. There are regulations that block Salim’s participation, but also many ways to sidestep these.

PT Holdiko Perkasa has certainly been having a sale and the timing is spot on as this started two months before the end of the year. The Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) has sold off nine of Holdiko’s companies since the beginning of November. In fact, last week IBRA man aged to sell off seven Holdiko assets for a total of Rp4 trillion.
