Fuels Paradise

A TELEVISION at the office of Yudistira Bumi Energi, on the 16th floor of the Wisma Argo Manunggal building in Jakarta, shows a program on the role of the regional government in the Mahakam Block gas operation. It includes a brief interview with Hazairin Adha, director of Migas Mandiri Pratama.

Migas Mandiri Pratama is owned by the East Kalimantan provincial government. The company is collaborating with Yudistira Bumi Energi to manage their share in the Mahakam oil and gas project. This management contract, signed in 1967 with Total E&P Indonesie and Inpex Corporation, will end in two years.
