FIVE years from now there will be new land in Jakarta Bay. Seventeen islands are to be created, measuring a total of 5,153 hectares, which is about the size of Central Jakarta. In length this would be equivalent to the distance from the Semanggi Interchange to Pademangan in North Jakarta.
