In a meeting of army commanders in Bandung last week, a decision was reached to "oppose" any moves by the President to replace Army Chief of Staff General Endriartono Sutarto. "We, the territorial commanders of the Indonesian military, will refuse to acknowledge the possible reappointment of the Army Chief of Staff by the President," said Maj. Ge
