Bullets from five rounds of gunfire ended Santosos life. After a member of the Indonesian Military (TNI) shot his stomach and arm, Santoso, commander of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terror group still fought back. TNI Brig. Gen. Ilyas Alamsyah, acting deputy commander of the Operation Tinombala task force, said that the 40-year-old fugitive, also known as Abu Wardah, was finally killed after a fifth shot fired by Second Sergeant Firman Wahy
