A Tale of Two Parties
Both the PPP and PBB parties feel that Akbar Tandjung should not have to resign from his position as House speaker. Why do these two parties appear to be defending Akbar?

When Akbar Tandjung was officially named a suspect in the Buloggate II scandal, most factions from the House of Representatives (DPR) `suggested' that the House speaker resign. There were also those who suggested he at least resign temporarily. The only factions in favor of keeping Akbar in office were those from the United Development Party (PPP) and the Crescent-Star Party (PBB).
