Tough Competition for Premium brands
Hundreds of rice sacks of over a dozen brands were lined up at the Cibubur Junction Hypermart in East Jakarta. Cap Ayam Jago and Maknyus brands, both of which have been in the news over the past two weeks, were displayed in one corner, along with the Jatisari and Desa Cianjur brands. These four rice brands, produced by the Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food, took up nearly a quarter of the rice displayed.
