The police made their move only one day after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) released a notice letter marking the start of the agency’s investigation into House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Setya Novanto’s involvement in the electronic ID card (e-KTP) corruption case. The police also issued its own investigation warrant for two KPK leaders, Agus Rahardjo and Saut Situmorang, on November 7.
