BIN’s Intervention in Mecca

Rizieq Shihab finally returned to Indonesia after living in Saudi Arabia for three and a half years. He lobbied the Saudi government to allow him to return. The Indonesian intelligence and police appear to have lobbied the cleric repeatedly to negotiate his plan to return home and run-in with the law. Rizieq claims he signed an agreement with the intelligence agency.
