DOZENS of bodies floated on the Ganges River, which runs through the state of Uttar Pradesh in India, on Monday June 28. The Covid-19 victim bodies were buried at the river’s upstream and were carried by the river’s current during a flood. They were buried there because their families were too poor to buy firewood for cremation.
