It was a real good fight to watch as Abdurrahman Wahid and Amien Rais slugged it out in the ring. Good boxers they were, the two men were each waiting for the other to go in and make the first move before delivering the decisive blow. Patiently, cautiously and sparingly Wahid waited with his threat of declaring a state of emergency and Amien with his threat of calling a snap session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR).
