The government is pushing for the use of new and renewable energy in the quest to reach carbon neutral by 2060. Indonesia needs up to Rp15,000 trillion to finance energy transition programs.

The next day, Peeters visited the office of the energy and mineral resources ministry to talk about a very serious issue: energy transition financing.
