ALTHOUGH the Herbana Pharmacy in Cilegon, Banten, used to be packed with customers, the establishment now appears empty. Tati, pharmacist and Herbana’s owner, said customers began to dwindle after the health ministry asked pharmacies to suspend sales of syrup medicines on Tuesday, October 18. The ministry made the appeal after a spike in cases of acute kidney injury.
