ONE week after decreeing the death penalty against Ferdy Sambo, Wahyu Iman Santoso has been avoiding any public appearance. He refused all interview requests by the media. South Jakarta District Court spokesperson Djuyamto said the step was taken in compliance with judge’s code of ethics. “The code of ethics denies any seeking of popularity,” he told Tempo on Thursday, February 16.
