He has just ordered Jakarta Police chief Inspector General Makbul Padmanegara to look into a claim by Tommy Suharto that the police had closed their eyes while he was a fugitive of the law. Wednesday last week Tommy told the Central Jakarta District Court where he is on trial on charges of murder and absconding from the law that while on the run he frequently stayed at his house on Jalan Cendana 12 at leisur
